Choi Hyojong has caught the eye of
public by his remarks describing JYJ sasaeng fans on his corner ‘Gag
concert – Praying mantis kindergarten’.
In the episode broadcasted on March 18,
to answering the question “What do you have to do to become a famous
celebrity with lots of fans?”, Choi Hyojong responded “That’s not hard.
All you have to do is having a solid talent, a gifted star quality and
the ability to manage your fans.”
Then he continued to describe some
behaviours of JYJ sasaeng fans “Someone grasped you when you are going
home after a schedule. When you are trying to do your business in the
bathroom, when you are sleeping at home, someone is always beside you.
At times like that, all you must say is ‘(Since) I am lonely right now,
thank you.’
Furthermore,
he added “If you order Chinese food over the phone, fans will be the
first one to come and say ‘Here is your black noodles, oppa’. Whenever
you open your cell phone after changing its number, you will receive
phone calls ‘Oppa, why did you change your number?’. Then, Choi Hyojong
sarcastically described sasaeng fans as “Someone who is always beside
you, whom you have to be thankful for.”
He also advised “One day, because of
something bad happens, you lose your emper with your fans? Be careful.
You will never know if they are carrying a recorder or not.” At the end,
the sharp-tongued gagman shouted out to the sasaeng fans “Just like
when you are driving, a safe distance with your oppa is important.”
