On April 16, JYJ’s current management agency – CJeS entertainment said “Right after releasing his solo album in the middle of next month, he will start an Asia Tour to promote it both inside and outside the country.”
Even when JYJ’s members were developing their individual acting activities, they have released their album as a team. It seems that now, starting with the release of Junsu’s solo album, solo album of other members might follow after.
CJeS representative Baek Changjoo said “Kim Junsu directly took part in producing, composing and writing lyrics for most of the songs in the album. He will show his full capabilities.” The album is expected to be filled by songs with various genres: ballad, R&B, dance etc. As it is an album from a singer who is rated as an idol group member with the most outstanding singing ability, the expectations are even higher.
Many different experts are going to attune together in his solo album. The team of the world famous choreographer Jeri Slaughter will appear and dance in Kim Junsu’s solo music video.
His coming Asia tour begins on May 19-20 in Seoul Jamsil Stadium. Until July, it will stop by 6 cities in Thailand, Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia, China etc. An official said “Due to the demand from other cities, we are thinking of extending the tour to more concert venues.”
Kim Junsu ‘s popularity is also soaring high as a musical actor in musical ‘Mozart’, ‘Tears of heaven’ and ‘Elisabeth’.
