Park
Min Young has confirmed that she will be appearing on MBC’s new drama
“Time Slip Dr. Jin” which will also star Song Seung Hun. Park Min Young
will play the doctor “Yoo Mi Na” in the year 2012. She will also play
the time slip character “Hong Young Rae.” The two characters will be
similar in some aspects but different in others.
The character “Yoo Mi Na” will be very
emotional, bright, and energetic. Her counterpart “Yoo Mi Na” will be
more careful, have a stronger character, and also have motherly
compassion.
“Time Slip Dr. Jin” will have its first
broadcast on May 26. It is based on the Japanese manga “Jin” which was
also made into a drama in Japan. The Korean drama will be about South
Korea’s best doctor “Doctor Jin” transporting back to the Joseon period
in the 1860s. The drama will be Song Seung Hun’s first time acting as a
doctor. JYJ’s Jaejoong will also have a role in the drama.

Actress Park Min Young was recently cast in MBC’s Dr. Jin (working title) to play opposite actor Song Seung Heon.
The series Dr. Jin is based on a
Japanese comic of a same title. Song appears in the series as surgeon
Jin Hyuk, who time travels to the 1860s—the Jo Seon Dynasty—and
experiences various things.
Park Min Young plays the role of Yoo Mi
Na, who is a competent surgeon, living in 2012. Tracing back to Jo Seon
Dynasty, she appears as Hong Young Rae, a lady from a ruined noble
family. Park’s two characters, Yoo and Hong have similar but different
charms at the same time.
Yoo, who live in modern days, is a
pleasant, naturally-happy person, and she is very emotional so sometimes
loses her temper. However, she is so warm-hearted that she can’t pass
by when she sees someone in need. Hon Young Rae, who lives in Jo Seon
Dynasty, looks alike Mi Na, but has completely different character. She
is really careful, strong, and warm hearted.
The series, also starring Kim Jae Joong and Lee Bum Soo, is to begin airing on May 26.

[NEWS] Park Min-yeong confirmed to star in “Dr. Jin”
Actress Park Min-yeong has confirmed to star in “Time Slip Dr. Jin“.
New MBC weekend drama “Time Slip Dr. Jin” revealed on the 19th that Park Min-yeong has taken on the role of an internal medicine doctor Yoo Mi-na and Chosun times maiden Hong Yeong-rae.
“Time Slip Dr. Jin” is based on a Japanese original about the best internal medicine doctor Jin Hyeok(Song Seung-heon) traveling back to the 1860s to perform his medical abilities.
Park Min-yeong will be portraying the bright and cheerful Yoo Mi-na and maiden Hong Yeong-rae at the same time. Director Han Heui said, “I think Park Min-yeong is
the most suitable actress for these roles as she has been through
various types of genres from modern to historical. Her continuous work
has bought her reputation and I feel she should do well in this drama
too”.
Meanwhile, “Time Slip Dr. Jin” also casts Song Seung-heon, Hero, Lee Beom-soo and more and will be broadcasted after “Feast of the Gods” on the 26th of May.
