TVXQ once again proves their popularity as a group representing hallyu in Japan setting a new record.
Tohoshinki single ‘STILL’ has eared gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIJA) released today as in the month of March. The single released on March 14 took Japan by storm as it sold more than 100,000 copies within 2 days.
The duo is setting truly proving its status as a global star as the single on the first day sold over 84,000 copies and debuted #1 on Oricon daily singles chart. Since then it has continued its reign on the weekly chart.
The duo also set a record on Oricon by becoming the first group to have 10 singles to rank #1 in 45 years of history.
The duo is currently drawing closer to its finale for their Japan tour ‘Live Tour 2012: Tone’ with only 6 performances left Japanese fans are excited to their performance in Tokyo Dome this Saturday for 3 days with an expected total of 165,000 fans.
