K-pop group JYJ’s member Kim Junsu has announced the release date of his first solo album, “XIA Tarantallegra.”
The long-anticipated album is scheduled to drop on May 15 and the
artist will roll out the music video of the title song “TARANTALLEGRA” a
day before the release, his agency C-JeS said in a press release on
Wednesday.Having about a week left till his grand return, the firm revealed a minute-long snippet of the music video this morning through JYJ’s official YouTube channel and Facebook webpage.
The officials noted in the statement that he has worked with main dancers from Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake’s dance teams to boost the Kim’s charismatic image in the video.
“The keyword for this music video is ‘Superiority.’ To visualize Kim’s belting strengths (in dancing and singing), we used a different type of cinematography and made the video a high-end quality,” a C-JeS official said in the statement while explaining “XIA Trantellagra,” meaning ‘a magical spell that makes people dance,’
In the meantime, the artist will launch his first official concert as a solo artist at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on May 19 and 20.
He will then kick off his Asia tour to six cities in the region, starting with Thailand on May 27. All 3,000 tickets that were open during the first opening of ticket sales have been sold out in just ten minutes, the officials said.
