[NEWS] 120828 Junsu’s World Tour affected by Typhoon “Luckily flight had taken off”

Even though the situation of the Typhoon is very serious, Junsu(XIA) is still able to catch on his flight for his World Tour.
Having finished his concert in Hongkong, Junsu had returned back to Korea immediately after his concert. Then, he should be on his way to New York on 28th morning 09:30am.
CJES said: “Because of the typhoon, we also changed the runway of the plane when returned from Hong Kong yesterday. Today, luckily the plane(to New York) had flew accordingly though we waited anxiously in the airport”
“However, after 30 minutes, the flight of the crews were delayed so did other crew members’ flights whom going to Mexico and Paris. Hence we’re still worried. We’re still hoping and waiting for the situation to turn good despite waiting in airport for 4 hours”.
Manager said: “US schedules start immediately after Asia Tour ended. Hence, (we are) watching the typhoon’s situation. Especially there’s no straight flights to South America, and if we don’t proceed according to plans, it might delay 3 to 4 days’ time. Hence, in any case, (we are) adjusting other new flights”.
Most importantly is Junsu’s physical condition. Manager expressed: ” We are worried if Junsu will be stress because of the natural disaster. For the upcoming world tour, we’ll do our best in taking care of Junsu’s physical conditions.”

After working with Kim Junsu on the hit single Uncommitted, famed composer Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer followed it up with some high praises of the singer.
Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer tweeted on August 22, “Junsu reminds me of Michael Jackson. Incredible natural ability like Michael had. I worked with Michael when I was younger!”

Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer has also previously worked with singers such as Christina Aguilera, The Wanted, Leona Lewis and more. Kim Junsu will hold his next concert in Hong Kong on August 26.

[NEWS] 120817 Kim Junsu Releases English Single, “Uncommitted”

On August 17th at noon, JYJ’s Kim Junsu released his first solo English single, “Uncommitted.” In addition to releasing the single, he also released the title track music video, which was directed by Marc Klasfeld and Ray Yeom.
Instead of releasing a repackaged album for his first solo album, “TARANTELLEGRA,” Kim Junsu decided to go with an English single. Working with Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer, who has previously worked with Christina Aguilera, Wanted and Leona Lewis, Kim Junsu sang the beautiful track “Uncommitted.”
The single also includes the English version of “TARANTELLEGRA,” as well as the instrumental to both tracks.

Flexing his vocal and linguistic skills, this English single plays out like a chill dance ballad as the MV showcases the duality of Junsu’s image. Adaptable and jam worthy, Junsu, your versatility is showing.

Remember how Aziatix member Flowsik worked alongside Junsu for “Tarantallegra?” Though the pounding deepness of his voice fit perfectly against the backdrop of Junsu’s electric vocals, this track needs no accompaniment. Instead of weighing down this latest release with the repetitiveness of a line like, “What music would you listen to,” Junsu’s handles “Uncommitted” with professional ease on his own. After releasing his new single album Uncommitted, Kim Junsu began revealing the people who helped him create the masterpiece.
On August 18, Kim Junsu tweeted two pictures.

The first tweet read, “Yeah!! Automatic~~~” and showed a picture of Kim Junsu posing closely with Bruce ‘Automatic’ Vanderveer from Sony Music, who helped create the new song, Uncommitted.

The second tweet said, “A very funny person,” showing a picture of Kim Junsu punching an unidentified staff member, who put on quite an expression upon receiving the blow.
Kim Junsu released his Uncommitted single album on August 17.

[NEWS] 120817 JYJ Kim Junsu, “Kiss scenes as soon as we met” for ‘Uncommitted’ MV

Kim Junsu‘s love scenes are driving the fans crazy.
Kim Junsu revealed his first English single album ‘UNCOMMITTED’ on August 17th along with the music video. In the music video, Kim Junsu is presents some intimate scenes rarely seen among idols.
The creative director of the music video, Ray, explained “We looked for European models that would look great with Junsu against the exotic backdrop. A German and a Korean-Romanian model were selected and both of the models showed great acting helping create a music video that expressed the subtle feelings between a man and a woman that’s much like a melo(drama) movie.”
In the music video, Kim Junsu creates beautiful scenes with the models running together holding hands affectionately, kissing on the bed, and caressing the face in a club.
Some of the fans commented: “It’s more shocking than the teaser”, “It’s so cool but makes me jealous”, and “Any time he lifts his hand, my heart stops.”
Kim Junsu shared, “The way the music videos are directed in the US is to present you a situation and go into a long take rather than to give detailed instructions so there were NG’s in a few scenes.” He added, “I was taken aback because we had to shoot the kiss scene as soon as we met but the acting abilities of the models were great and the mood was great on the set so the filming went without a hitch.”
Kim Junsu also wished for the fans, “I hope you spend a romantic autumn with my first English single song ‘UNCOMMITTED’ which is in an urban pop style.”

[NEWS] 120810 JYJ’s Junsu will soon release a new single, “Uncommitted”

The new single album of JYJ’s Junsu will be on sale from August 10.

In July, Junsu went to the U.S. and recorded his new song “Uncommitted” with the American songwriter Automatic. “Uncommitted” is a R&B song with an uptempo melody and sentimental lyrics.

Automatic says, “The lyrics of the song are about a man who longs for true love and wants to be cured by someone else, but the melody is soft and sweet. Junsu did a good job singing that song.”

Junsu says, “The arrangement of this song accentuates an oriental feeling based on a mystical sound of the original song with an orchestral accompaniment. A beat of a small gong, a Korean traditional instrument, was added to the chorus part, and the distinctive Korean singing style was also added at the end. This English version of “Tarantallegra” sounds very different from the Korean version. I believe it will appeal to many global music fans.”

Regarding “Uncommitted,” C-jes Entertainment, Junsu’s agency, says, “Junsu has chosen this R&B song as the lead track because he wanted to appeal to the global fans before going on a world tour.”

A music video teaser of “Uncommmitted” will be released on August 14 on YouTube.
