DJ: Have you ever looked at a particular celebrity and felt that he/she/they were amazing? Who made you feel that way?
Jang Hyun Seung: For me, amongst TVXQ sunbae-nim [seniors], I like U-Know Yunho sunbae-nim a lot. We go to the same hairdresser as U-Know Yunho sunbae-nim. We, Beast, met him coincidentally in the shop and were really blown away and so we came out of the shop without any words. Seeing Yunho sunbae-nim in the flesh at the hairdresser, because he’s so good-looking, I just let out a breath.. I’m also a celebrity, but because he was so good-looking, I was really taken aback.

Q: Is there any idol member whom you wish to become close with?
Son Dong Woon: It’s U-Know Yunho sunbae-nim. We go to the same hairdresser. Just by looking at his face, he’s very nice. He’s sunbae-nim who’s like the sky, and I couldn’t find courage.

ZE:A – Kwanghee
On the broadcast, Kwanghee was unable to contain his excitement and revealed, “I was so surprised but also really excited when I saw the TVXQ seniors. We even took a picture together!” When asked which TVXQ member was his favorite, he replied, “I like Yunho, he’s so cool.”

Q: From what you (Lee Joon) remember, whose words of encouragement has had the greatest influence in you?
A: U-Know Yunho hyung. He’s always been very straightforward with his compliments and advice, telling me “How you should work this expression”, and also tells me things like “You can do better.” He’s been aware of us since we were promoting “Oh Yeah,” and has been guiding me since then. He also said, “Let’s work hard together and become even cooler singers!” and would tell us about how he’s been working hard recently, so I am really thankful.

“I’m in personal contact with Yunho. I went to a hair shop recently, and there were a lot of senior entertainers there. I greeted all my seniors and sat down intimidated, and when Yunho came, he introduced me to all the seniors. Yunho asked all the seniors to watch over me, and I got a lot of strength from it. He’s a senior who knows loyalty.”

“Even before his debut through TVXQ, he [Yunho] was a very popular figure back in Gwangju because of his dancing skills …Because I essentially followed in his footsteps to Seoul, I was excited to meet him by chance at a coffee shop and approach him.” He later revealed that when he approached Yunho and told him that his hometown was also Gwangju, Yunho showed him kindness and asked him about his school and neighborhood. In addition, BARO revealed that he asked Yunho for an autograph while he was still a trainee.
He received a signed CD that read, “Let’s meet later on stage!” and eventually met the top star again two years later. In regards to their first meeting after his debut with B1A4, BARO said, “B1A4 had their debut stage on MBC‘s ‘Show! Music Core.’ Out of good fortune, I was able to meet Yunho again on that day… I greeted him nervously and was speechless–out of happiness–to find out that he still remembered me.”

“That day I saw senior Yunho ripping apart his outfit after a dance. Since that dance, I started continuously imitating him. Later on, I didn’t think of dancing by just myself, but rather dreaming of becoming a singer standing on stage.
‘When I watched SBS’s ‘X-Man’ and ‘Love Letters’, I fell into Yunho’s dance. He said, ‘When I started to imitate dance steps, I understand more how powerful Yunho sunbei is. Although I wanted to become a legal person, but my dream had changed to singer after I saw Yunho hyung.’ ‘I was truly impressed after I saw Yunho sunbei’s dance that day, I started dancing since then, and began to imitate continuously. According to Open World Entertainment, “Karam likes Yunho very much. He was very happy and said that ‘I finally talked to senior Yunho’ when he saw him for the first time in KBS Music Bank’s standby room and got happy whenever he saw Yunho in broadcasting stations. Karam was very happy when he unexpectedly got on the same plane as Yunho and felt happy as Yunho gave him a lot of advices while getting his luggages.”

“Even though when I was little, I didn’t really know much about idols or singers, but DBSK is the first idol group that I liked. Out of the five sunbaes, my favorite was Yunho Sunbae. He really is very attractive, I admire his sense of responsibility and leadership skills.
“After our first broadcast on ‘Inkigayo’, U-Know Yunho senior called us. At that time he was in Japan to do a concert at the Tokyo Dome, but he still monitored our first broadcast and even called us after” and “We put on the speaker phone in the practice room and listened to him all together. He gave advices to each member in detail, it was really touching”.

“When we were trainees, Yunho sunbae helped us a lot. Whether its dancing, singing, or performing, he was always there to help us, giving us a lot advice on choreography.”
Who are the artists you respect the most?
“I want to learn how to have the same charisma and ability to overwhelm the audience as Yunho senior.”
“DBSK’s U-Know Yunho senior and Max Changmin senior always monitor us and always give nice words to each one of us everytime we meet them after a while. Sometimes they even tell us warm words through speaker phone when we’re practicing.
