[NEWS] 121004 TVXQ try to appeal to the public with their new album, Catch Me

Thursday, October 4, 2012

TVXQ are now trying to appeal to the public with their sixth album, Catch Me.

TVXQ say, “Our fans always love our albums, but not everyone does. The songs from our fifth album were too strong. In other words, they weren’t easy to appeal to the public, so we focused on making songs that can appeal to the public this time. Our producer also tried to reflect our thoughts on this new album.”

“Beautiful Life” is a R&B number accompanied by pop and hip-hop sounds. It’s composed by the producing team The Underdogs, who have worked with such popular artists as Chris Brown, Beyonce, and Justin Timberlake.

The lyrics of “I Swear” are written by Changmin. He expresses his feelings for his fans through this song. The Korean version of “I Don’t Know,” which was originally a single in Japanese, is also attracting attention. TVXQ also did a cover of “Dream,” a song released in 1999. They added an acoustic sound to the song to make it as fresh as the original version.

Including “Destiny,” “Like Soap,” and “How Are You,” a total of 11 songs are easy to listen to.

TVXQ are also preparing a special event to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut, which is next year.
