After its latest Japanese single album, Catch Me –If You Wanna- debuted at number one on the Oricon daily singles chart last week, the single album has also come out at number one on the Oricon weekly singles chart.
This gives DBSK its 12th number one on the Oricon weekly singles chart and makes the group the first overseas artist to have claimed 12 number one single albums on the Oricon weekly singles chart.
Catch Me –If You Wanna-’s feat doesn’t stop there as it is also DBSK′s 28th single in the weekly singles chart’s top ten since DBSK’s single, Sky first did so back in 2006 - another record for an overseas artist in Japan.
But DBSK will have little time to relish the accomplishment, as the group is preparing for the release of its new Japanese full-length album, Time set for release on March 6.
DBSK will also kick off its five-dome tour in Japan beginning on April 27 while U-know Yunho continues to appear in SBS’ Yawang while Max Changmin has been cast a co-MC for KBS’ new variety program, Moonlight Prince.
