Max Changmin got hurt while filming for ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’.

During the episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that airs on the 6th of August, an oar swept away by the rapids smacked Max Changmin on his upper lip during a river-rafting competition in the Gangwon Province.

The area around Max Changmin’s lips puffed up due to the impact but the singer got right back to filming for the show after some quick first aid treatment. Though it wasn't easy for him to talk because of the swelling, his dogged determination got him to the play-offs.

The staff of the show stated, “Everyone was surprised by Max Changmin’s spirit. He could have sat out after his unexpected accident, but not only did he participate in the badminton match that followed, he had his best game yet. We've given him the new nickname ‘Charging Forward Changmin’ to go along with ‘First Victory’ and ‘Second Victory’.”

During his first badminton match with the Joonggok-dong team, Max Changmin revealed that he had to wrap his legs with tape because of all the bruises and injuries. It showed just how much he had practiced for the match.

Max Changmin’s hard work, despite his injury, will be revealed on the 6th of August.
