TVXQ have added to the pile of money they amassed during their 90 billion Won tour with sales from their concert DVD.

The group released their ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2013 ~TIME~’ DVD on the 23rd and topped the music DVD and overall DVD daily charts on Oricon with a total of 92,623 copies sold. The DVD contains live footage from their performance at Tokyo Dome in June.

TVXQ became the first Korean singers to hold a Five Dome Tour in Japan (Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka Yahoo, Osaka Kyocera, Tokyo) and became the first foreign singers to hold a concert at Yokohama’s Nissan Stadium for their grand finale. They attracted a total of 850,000 fans to their 18 performances and broke the record for the most audience members attending a single tour.

The average price for tickets was 9,800 Yen, with the total sales from tickets alone adding up to 8.33 billion Yen (approximately 90.4 billion Won). With the price of the DVD being four times the price of a single at 8,400 Yen (91,000 Won), they earned approximately 778 million Yen (8.5 billion Won) in a single day of sales. This means that TVXQ have been able to earn 100 billion Won in a single tour through ticket sales and DVD sales.
