TVXQ’s
U-know Yunho and B2ST’s Yoon Du Jun are neck and neck in their bid to
become the next president of the entertainment world.
The
results of the 2012 entertainment world presidential election will be
revealed on the April 10 broadcast of Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News
during the ‘Celebrity Ranking’ segment at 5pm.
Starting
from March 28-April 1, viewers submitted their presidential candidates
to the production team through Celebrity Ranking’s official Twitter page
(@Mnet_Ranking).
Over
900 suggestions were received with the majority of the candidates
coming from idol groups. In addition, Cha In Pyo, Yoo Ah In and Jung
Hyung Don were also listed on the ballot, and more than 200 people
showed up in the streets of Hongdae to vote for their candidate. The
results were completely based off the public’s voting.
B2ST’s
Yoon proved to be the most popular candidate and received 189 of the
900 Twitter votes. Yoon’s strong leadership skills, philanthropy, and
magnanimity appeared to have had a strong influence on his favorable
results. Yoon became known as the ‘endearing president’ thanks to his

fellow celebrities.

U-know Yunho was also selected as an influential presidential
