TVXQ’s biggest tour ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012: Tone’ is now coming to its end as their last performance at Kyocera Dome begins today at 6PM JST for 3 consecutive days.
TVXQ’s biggest tour ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012: Tone’ is now coming to its end as their last performance at Kyocera Dome begins today at 6PM JST for 3 consecutive days.
TVXQ so far has visited 10 cities with 23 performances beginning in January at Yokohama for 2 days, Nagoya (3 performances), Fukuoka (2 performances), Niigata (2 performances), Sapporo (2 performances), Hiroshima (2 performances), Fukui (2 performances), Osaka (2 performances), Saitama (3 performances), and Tokyo (3 performances).
The Tokyo Dome performance for 3 days rallied as many as 165,000 fans becoming the largest performance in the tour. The duo is the third foreign artist in Japan to hold three consecutive concerts at Tokyo Dome, after Michael Jackson in 1998 and the Backstreet Boys in 2001 achieving this feat for the third time in 11 years.
Also the second day of Tokyo Dome performance the fans held a surprise event of changing their usual red glow sticks that fills the venue forming a red ocean to white during the encore stage of new song ‘STILL.’ It drew attention as Yunho was moved to tears so there are expectations that fans will plan a big event as the Kyocera Dome is to the finale of this tour.
‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012: Tone’ has garnered a lot of attention it became the largest tour for the group in 11 venues of 26 performances expected to draw in 550,000 audience, as well as being the Japan nationwide tour in three years and the tickets of each performance were sold out in merely few minutes proving their popularity. The duo announced to hold their largest fan meeting from June 30 and July 1 at the Saitama Super Arena and July 7 and 8 at Kobe World Memorial Hall expecting to draw in more than 100,000 people.
