Korean Popular Pop Group TVXQ's single ANDROID has sold over 152,000 in its first week of release,
ranking no.1 for 7/23 Weekly single chart. Including this single, TVXQ has sold over 3,104,000 copies
of singles that entered weekly rankings, surpassing US sibling duo Carpenter's record of foreign artists
... single total sale copy of 3,002,000. It has entered no.1 for all foreign artist single sale in 10 years and
10 months.
TVXQ's single no.1 has continued since STILL (released in March 2012) consecutively for past two
singles and total of 11 singles. Top 10 has continued since SKY, the very first single that entered Top
10 for total of 27 singles. They broke the records of their own for foreign artist's no.1 records.
Yunho and Changmin of TVXQ, who again renewed their own record with a dance-tune single,
expressed determination, "we are very happy. We believe we were able to achieve such because of
all the fans who support us. We will continue to do our best."
