[NEWS] 130110 TVXQ′s U-know Yunho Moves Up the Social Ladder as a Rich Boy in ′Yawang′

TVXQ′s (DBSK) Jung Yunho drew laughs from his audience with a witty introduction to his character for Yawang.

At the press conference for SBS′ Yawang held on January 9, Jung Yunho joked, "I started as a soccer player, went on to become a public official and now I′m a rich boy. I′ve moved up the social ladder," referring to the roles he took up in his previous pieces.

He then added, "Since my character is a rich boy he hasn′t been through many difficulties in life, so he′s bold and has a great sense of justice. He meets Da Hae (Soo Ae) and learns about love, then he becomes a bad brother after falling out with his sister. I′m trying to make him very interesting so please tune in."

The singer-turned-actor appears as the rich boy Baek Do Hoon, who grew up with his father, the president of a big group, and his sister, who is much older than him. He meets his downfall after meeting Da Hae and drowns in jealousy and lust.

Yawang is a drama about how a woman tries to become First Lady to escape from her poverty, and the love and betrayal of a man who sacrifices everything for her. It will air its first episode on January 14.
