Incheon, Korea: The 2014 Incheon Asian Games Organising Committee (IAGOC) unveiled the official Asian Games song and video – called “Only One” and performed by the K-Pop group JYJ – on its YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/Incheon2014) and various music download sites on Monday.

The song talks of overcoming challenges and difficulties to look forward to a bright future, as nations and races unite as one, while the video introduces the host city and takes JYJ to major landmarks such as Incheon International Airport, Munhak Stadium and Incheon Bridge. The video invites all the visitors to Incheon to unite as one as they follow JYJ in song and dance.

Mr. Kwon Kyung-sang, the Secretary General of IAGOC, said: “We hope that all the visitors and participants at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games will unite as one as the song says, and enjoy the Games together as one. On behalf of IAGOC I would like to thank JYJ, our Goodwill Ambassadors, who are extremely popular all over Asia, for their participation to promote the Asian Games.”

Representatives of JYJ said: “We hope that our song ‘Only One’ will attract the interest of many people to the Incheon Asian Games and that people will enjoy this song.  With the launch of this song we will start participating in a series of special events as the Goodwill Ambassadors of the 2014 Asian Games. We look forward to the continued support of our fans in our endeavours.”

JYJ will perform “Only One” at the promotional roadshows of IAGOC, to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on October 24 and in Guangzhou, China, on November 21.  They will also perform at the Asian Games Centennial Festival in Boracay, the Philippines, on November 28.
