After making his solo singing debut with first mini-album “I” this January, Kim is set to roll out his first solo studio album late October, his agency C-Jes Entertainment announced in a press release Monday.

“While he marked himself as a rocker through the January mini-album, the upcoming full-length album will be the record in which Kim introduces his diverse charm as a vocalist,” an official with C-Jes was quoted as saying.

“Kim is currently busy writing and recording the tunes to be listed in his first studio album, which will be more interesting and sweeter rock album, aiming to get close to the public. After the release of the album, Kim will meet fans in and out of Korea through concert tour,” the official added.

Kim’s first mini-album “I” and its repackaged album “Y,” dropped the following month, have been sold a total of 200,000 copies. The singer/actor also successfully held seven-city Asia tour and sold-out Yokohama shows in the first half of this year.
