Junsu, a member of the popular music group JYJ and a rising musical star, said on Wednesday that he wouldn’t mind if he was called Xia Junsu, which he had used for the formerly five-member boyband TVXQ.
He said that his newest music video of “Tarantallegra,” the first single from his solo album, may be one of the most expensive music videos he has ever made.

“If you had watched it, you could’ve imagined that it would be one of the most expensive music videos. If I considered only the Korean market, it would be excessive,” Junsu said at a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday.
“But I know that overseas fans can watch the music video. With my company’s strong support, I was able to shoot it,” he said.

Junsu, who is also known as Kim Jun-su and Xia Junsu as the member of JYJ, said “Tarantallegra” is a magical word that makes one quickly dance.
The music video illustrates and integrates magical fantasies with his music, voice, fashion, hair and costumes, he said.
He also noted that he reduced 6 kilos during his performances for the musical “Elizabeth” and his slimmer body expresses an image of a unisex magician in the music video.
JYJ, formed by the former members of South Korean group TVXQ, is made up of Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun, and all the three members are enjoying strongly popularity in Asia and elsewhere amid the heightened interest toward Korean pop music.
